Chun Zhang, Ph.D., is one of the co-founders of Heranova.

He has also served as Head of Technical Operations at Evelo Biosciences since 2017. Prior to joining Evelo, Chun was Vice President and Head of Bioprocess Development at Shire. Chun has also served as Head of Cell Culture Development at Bayer Healthcare LLC, as well as Head of Technical Operations at WuXi AppTec, Inc.

Chun received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
